The Drama program is a small but important part of the camp experience. In addition to providing a backdrop for many “get to know you” activities including counselor and cabin skit nights, improvisational theater, storytelling and campfire songs, the drama program provides an important outlet for many creative campers. All campers will get a chance to engage in public speaking or performance on some level in front of their groups or the entire camp during the session. Poise, attitude and preparation will be stressed as this skill is emphasized as part of our camp-wide devotion to leadership training.

Throughout each summer a number of small skits and/or one act plays will be created and rehearsed by those campers thus interested. These will be performed for segments of the camp during evening activities or at meals. Campers are strongly encouraged to create their own plays based on the themes and activities in and around camp.
