Director - Garrett Colgan-Snyder: Originally from Arden, Delaware, Garrett and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. He grew up camping in Vermont and New Hampshire with his parents and brother. At camp as a boy Garrett came to love the overnight experience and appreciate the community and relationships born from that environment. His continued commitment to the outdoors has brought him countless new experiences and friendships from which he draws to communicate, teach, and connect with children.  He has achieved a "Camp-centric" lifestyle. His new self-help book so titled is due out in the fall...not really.

Girls Unit Leader & Camper Advocate - Jessica Solley: A member of the Hawkeye community from the beginning Jess came to us after a bucolic childhood in northern New Jersey.  Wantage, NJ...have you heard of it?  Ever been there?  We didn't think so.  After escaping the soft embrace of small town America Jess found herself in Boston by way of rural Vermont.  A graduate of Suffolk University she is studying for her Master's in Education.  We are hoping that means that not only will we have the benefit of her heart and mind throughout the rest of her own career as a student but beyond into her years as a teacher.

Boys Unit Leader: Sean Clarke: Irish and proud to be so!  Coming all the way from County Meath in the Republic of Ireland, Sean might as well have a soccer ball attached to his instep.  A player, coach, manager, and fan, he will be unlocking some of the secrets of "footy" for anyone interested.  Energetic, great sense of humor and curious, Sean wants to learn as much as he teaches.

Assistant Director - Philip Chantler: A native of Liverpool, England, Phil began his career in camping nearly ten years ago in upstate New York. During the school year he is a history teacher in an international school in Thailand. Phil has always recognized the growth opportunities that travel and new experiences provide and believes just as strongly in the countless benefits of the residential camp experience.

Program Director - Jane Roble: A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Jane has a long history of camping that includes Girl Scout Camp as a camper. In 2000 she began working at a Therapeutic Residential Camp and after summers as the Asst. Program and Program Director she moved on to join our staff.  Outside of camp Jane works in the Special Education Department at Newton North High School as an ABA Therapist.

UK Coordinator & Boys Unit Leader - James Chandler: James started his work at American summer camps almost a decade ago, 1998, at a camp not far from Lake Placid, New York. James currently works as an ICT teacher and Key Stage Three Coordinator at the Tewkesbury School in Gloucestershire, England. Years of travel and outdoor adventures have prepared him thoroughly for his current responsibilities.

Waterfront Coordinator: Jen Dineen: Her second year at Hawkeye Jen filled an important role on the beach.  Her energy and enthusiasm preceded her as well as her participation in countless rescues along Hampton Beach New Hampshire.  A recent graduate of Clarke University: anyone "Now Hiring."
